Brittany Shepherd joins Garden of the Gods Resort as clinical historian

The Garden of the Gods Resort and Club in Colorado Springs, US, has appointed Brittany Shepherd to the newly created role of clinical historian at the resort’s Strata Integrated Wellness Spa. 

The position was created to personalise and evolve the medical wellness facility’s multi-dimensional concierge wellness experience.

In her new role, Shepherd, whose background is in personalised care, will act as the guest’s first touchpoint within the spa and will be responsible for the pre-arrival, onboarding and arrival of each guest. 

She will also be responsible for understanding guests’ health and wellness goals, as well as conducting comprehensive reviews of guests’ medical histories, and will foster a collaborative relationship between guests and clinicians by ensuring that guests’ history, lifestyle and health goals play a central role in their care.

“The clinical historian is a fundamental part of the experience and will not only maintain an ongoing centralised and through Patient Record Profile for the clinical team but guide and facilitate new patients through Strata’s integral disciplines of Med, Body and Fit,” the company said.
