Healing Hotels of the World launches new certification

As guests begin to return to hotels, Healing Hotels of the World (HHOW) has launched a new certification for its member properties that it says will ‘credibly cater to the growing demand for a healing experience’.

The global, member-based hospitality brand is to offer a Healing Certification that will enable hotels to demonstrate their commitment to healing on both safety and holistic levels.

Co-founder of Healing Hotels of the World, Anne Biging told European Spa: “Healing is in huge demand across the globe as we are all affected physically, emotionally and spiritually by the trauma the world is encountering through COVID-19. As borders are opening and travel starts to resume people are looking for hotels that take care of the safety measures, and can credibly cater to the growing demand for a healing experiences to recover and reset.”

HHOW member hotels will primarily have to fulfill the Covid safety measures relevant to their region. In addition, the certification is intended to give guests peace of mind that the hotels will provide experiences that support holistic lifestyles – from caring for their staff to innovative programmes and cuisine, as well as a range of physical fitness activities and spiritual growth opportunities.

The certification will be available to both Resort and Urban Healing Hotels of the World.

A number of HHOW members are already offering post-Covid retreat,s including Euphoria Retreat in Greece; The Retreat in Costa Rica and Mexico’s Rancho La Puerta.
